Central Station, Inc. Announces An Alliance with HP
San Francisco, California, 27 October 2000
Central Station, Inc. Joins
Hewlett-Packard's Web Developer Partner Program to provide comprehensive
net-business services. This is the result of several years of combined industry
service. The program is designed to allow HP partners to leverage HP's products
and services to further provide customized integrated solutions and to increase
revenue potential.
Central Station will focus on providing tailored net-business services
to industry, Internet and AEC community customers using HP systems.
"Central Station is excited about formalizing our long-standing business
relationship, particularly in light of our current expansion to Hong
Kong," said Kenneth Lee, President of Central Station. Kenneth Lee who
started his engineering career at Hewlett-Packard in 1988 has a clear
understanding of the HP way and sees them as a powerful partner with
global reach and product availability.
Central Station has implemented Sherlock, for Hewlett-Packard's Test and
Measurement Organization (TMO), an Intranet based system solution, to
provide sales territory assignment information that fulfills four major business and
technical requirements: Extensible Architecture, Workflow Enforcement,
Ease of Use, Maintenance and Upgrade.
For HP spin-off company Agilent Technologies, Central Station delivered
Atlas, an Intranet system that allows for meaningful interpretation of a
massive amount of sales information.
"With Central Station, Inc. as a new partner in the HP Web
Developer Partner Program, we can now work more closely than ever
before" said Ilona Dodgen, Agilent's EPSG IS Solutions Manager
"Central Station, Inc. has long been a valued out-sourced service
provider that really understands the HP way as well as the application
of our systems. They're a great resource."
